I came to architecture after a career as an elementary school teacher. When transitioning out of education, I found a job working for an architect in Connecticut and quickly fell in love with the field. My education in architecture began under the tutelage of the principal architect, as an apprentice, designing office interiors, both configuring layouts and choosing the finishes. While working full time, I began a Masters of Architecture degree on-line with the Academy of Art University. Half way through the program, I moved to San Francisco in order to finish my degree on campus. My portfolio demonstrates my development as a student of architecture as much as the unfolding of my personal style.
